Two independent digital asynchronous 24 bit sample rate converters in one module. All AES inputs and outputs are 110 Ohms transformer balanced.
It is able to synchronize to external AES or to local GPU bus. When the converter synchronizes to external AES, all channel status bits, validity and user bits are transparently transferred from external AES to the AES output, substituting only the incoming audio data bits with the data bits from the SRC converter chip.
When the converter synchronizes to the GPU bus, an Out of Sync Detector constantly compares the block position of the AES output with the block position of the GPU bus, ensuring perfect sync between the digital outputs of all modules installed in the GPU frame.
